Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team at the University of Dundee. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing maintenance and installation work on our city centre campus and other university-owned properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out troubleshooting, reactive repairs, and planned maintenance on plumbing assets, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Prepare and write risk assessments and method statements for plumbing tasks.
- Participate in the operation of the Estates Department's preventative planned maintenance scheme and management control system.
- Participate in the departmental standby call-out system and provide holiday relief or sickness absence cover.
- Possess SNIJIB Plumber accreditation and have at least two years of experience working as a Plumber.
- Experience of working on statutory, reactive, and planned preventative maintenance tasks in occupied buildings.
- Able to adopt and work within a safe system of work for all tasks.
