Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a freelance basis, working on residential/social housing projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Social Housing sector, with a strong understanding of construction costs, contracts, and regulations. You will be proficient in using office IT applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word, and have a full UK Driver's Licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and issue sub-contract orders and ensure these are signed and returned along with any supporting documentation.
  • Review and sign off on any sub-contract applications and prepare and send out payment notices.
  • Agree Final Accounts with the supply chain and clients in a timely manner.
  • Attend site visits to provide assistance and support to both the commercial and operational side of the business.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with experience working in the Social Housing sector.
  • Proficiency using office IT applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word or equivalent software.
  • Full UK Driver's Licence.
