About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at CV-Library. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and agree variation accounts for main contracts and sub-contracts.
  • Monitor costs against targets and contract progress against accepted programmes and work plans.
  • Provide input into change control procedures for EOT, delays, and performance adjustments.
  • Prepare and agree interim valuations, final valuations, final accounts, and sub-contract final accounts.
  • Issue certification and payment to sub-contractors.
  • Provide contractual advice to management to ensure compliance with contracts and legal administration obligations.
  • Negotiate and progress the resolution of disputes.
  • Identify potential commercial risks and evaluate options for their control and management.
Requirements
  • Qualified with a Quantity Surveying degree or similar.
  • Enrolled in, or seeking membership of, a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS, or similar).
  • Successful experience at Quantity Surveyor level, demonstrating skill in delivering a positive commercial outcome for projects.
  • The ability to listen, learn, and take on new concepts, while mentoring junior team members.
  • A full driving license.
