Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Our client is a well-established, leading Social Housing Contractor and due to continued growth, they are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to carry out new and on-going projects within the construction industry.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

  • Site Visits: Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Cost Control: Maintaining accurate records of costs and ensuring that the supply chain is engaged appropriately with the correct contract terms and conditions.
  • Estimating: Estimating quantities, costs, and time scales for materials and labor.
  • Maintaining Deadlines: Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Full UK Driving License.
  • A HNC Qualification as a minimum.
  • 2+ years of experience within a similar role.

The working hours will be:

  • Monday to Friday.
  • 42.5 hours per week.
