Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our KS2 students in a dynamic and supportive classroom environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their full potential and reach their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and sessions to small groups of students.
  • Support students with their learning, providing individualized attention and guidance as needed.
  • Help create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, other professionals, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
  • Establish trusting relationships with students and interact with them in a way that supports their social, emotional, and academic needs.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience working with children in a school setting.
  • A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and its application in the classroom.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Experience supporting students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (assistance provided if required).
