Job Title: Intervention Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to join our team to support the delivery of interventions in our KS1 and KS2 classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with children to ensure they engage with the curriculum and their learning.
  • Have a calm and nurturing approach to create a positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess and record children's progress to provide feedback to children, parents, and the Class Teacher.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Good understanding of the KS1/KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
  • Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Experience delivering interventions/small group sessions.
