Position Overview

Role Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join our team at a well-regarded Primary School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance to a Year 1 student requiring additional support for mobility and academic engagement.
  • Utilize visual aids and tailored academic support to facilitate the student’s learning experience.
  • Support the student in navigating the school environment safely and effectively.
Ideal Candidate

This position is ideal for graduates embarking on their educational journey or for those with existing qualifications in Special Educational Needs, Teaching Assistance, or Childcare.

We are looking for individuals who possess:

  • A calm and patient demeanor.
  • Strong English and Maths skills.
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude towards working with children.
Training and Development

Comprehensive training will be provided, and you will collaborate closely with an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) and participate in regular sessions with visiting professionals.
