About the Role

The Front Office and Client Support team is a critical component of ANZ Banking Group's Institutional bank, responsible for minimizing financial and regulatory issues that could arise from workflow failures, trade capture errors, settlement delays, and technology issues impacting the bank.

As a Senior Analyst – Front Office and Client Support, you will be a key member of this team, working closely with Sales, Trading, Operations, Technology, Finance, and Risk teams to ensure seamless trade flow and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Trade Capture and Risk Management: Timely and accurate capture of trade data into risk management platforms to ensure risk and profit/loss are in line with expectations.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure trade flow and regulatory exceptions are dealt with on a timely basis and escalated where required, demonstrating excellent knowledge of related systems, traded products, confirmations, and settlements processes of supported asset classes.
  3. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to change management strategy and implementation, leveraging expertise in trade capture platforms, Excel, and SQL.
  4. Knowledge and Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of banking practices, domestic clearing services, relevant legislation, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
