The Role: Residential Care Home Director
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Care Home Director to lead our 82-bed facility in Wantage. As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture of our home and ensuring the delivery of outstanding care.
Responsibilities- Quality Assurance: Oversee all aspects of resident care, ensuring it meets the highest standards and regulatory requirements.
- Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations efficiently, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Build and motivate a dedicated team of caregivers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Resident Engagement: Create a stimulating and engaging atmosphere for residents, promoting their social well-being and independence.
- Business Development: Implement strategies to maintain occupancy levels and enhance the reputation of our home within the community.
- Proven track record in successfully managing a CQC-rated care home, with a demonstrated commitment to quality care.
- A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in the care sector.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Diploma level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Registered Nurse certification is desirable but not essential.
