Job Title: Transport Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Transport Administrator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transport department by managing various administrative tasks and liaising with both customers and hauliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the retrieval and requests for all Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
  • Progress chasing by contacting drivers and hauliers to obtain progress updates.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly unbilled update reports.
  • Build and update collection and delivery Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Liaise effectively with customers and hauliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Update and manage information across several platforms.
  • Maintain and manage spreadsheets with accurate data entry and updates.
  • Work efficiently in a targeted environment to meet deadlines and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is essential.
  • Experience in the transport environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively over the phone with a polite and professional manner.
