About the Role

As a Lead Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality occupational therapy services within our dedicated oncology department at The Royal Marsden. You'll be responsible for managing a team of therapists, ensuring seamless patient care, and driving continuous improvement within the service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical leadership to the occupational therapy team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of patients with cancer.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior therapists, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of occupational therapy services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of excellence.
