We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to lead our team of occupational therapists and therapy assistants in delivering high-quality clinical care.

Priory Group is a leading provider of mental health services, specializing in the treatment of a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

This is a senior position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small but dedicated team to deliver assessments, groups, and individual sessions across our departments.

You will act as a positive role model, promoting the value of occupation and upholding the values of Priory Group. We offer a comprehensive preceptorship program for new graduates, supporting their transition into clinical practice, as well as regular clinical and management supervision.

Our Occupational Therapists have access to ongoing professional development opportunities, including CPD programs, to support their learning and growth.

We are committed to delivering high-quality clinical care, and we are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of occupational therapists and therapy assistants in delivering high-quality clinical care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of our patients
  • Conduct assessments, groups, and individual sessions across our departments
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting the value of occupation and upholding the values of Priory Group
  • Provide regular clinical and management supervision to team members
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including CPD programs

Requirements:

  • Accredited Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration in place
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of Care Plans and Assessment
  • Ability to deliver ADL assessments
  • A high standard of report writing
  • Team-player
  • Positive attitude

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience of people management
