Job Summary:

We are looking for a Support Worker who is passionate about supporting people to live independently and maintain their dignity. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with our clients to develop and implement personalized care plans, providing practical and emotional support to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, personal care, and medication management
  • Accompany clients on community outings and social activities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in healthcare or care-giving is desirable, but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work alternative weekends and varying shifts
  • Full NZ driver's license and reliable transportation
