About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Shift Manager to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring efficient store operations, and leading a team of retail professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate and support your team to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks to ensure smooth store operations
  • Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed and grow
  • Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
  • Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure seamless shifts
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences every time

Requirements

  • Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team
  • Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Passion to thrive as a key part of the Store Team
  • Proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations
