About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Team Member to join our dynamic team at Home Bargains. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and upholding our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Support colleagues in delivering excellence across the store, including stock replenishment, maintenance, and presentation.
  • Work effectively on tills, handling cash transactions, and ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and tidy store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Package Description

As a Store Team Member, you will enjoy a competitive rate of pay, ranging from £9.00 per hour for below 18-year-olds to £11.88 for those 21 and over. You will also benefit from:

  • Available contracted hours ranging from 16-20 hours per week.
  • A fixed-term contract ending no later than Tuesday, 24 December 2023.
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year, including bank and public holiday allowance.

Minimum Criteria to Apply

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Be available from 30th September to 24th December for the Christmas period.
  • Have availability to work weekends.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of customer service.
  • Have experience in cash handling and working in a retail environment.
  • Have experience in manual handling and stock replenishment.
  • Be hardworking, reliable, and professional.
