Assistant Planner Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Planner to join our dynamic team at Fawkes & Reece (North), a leading regional contractor with a strong presence in the UK construction market.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects in a construction environment, with a strong focus on planning and time management. They will be responsible for assisting the Senior Planner and Planning Manager in delivering projects across various sectors, including high-rise residential, commercial developments, student accommodations, care homes, and retirement living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of projects from inception to completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals and business cases

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Planner or similar role in a construction environment
  • Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to think ahead and manage risk
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
