Assistant Planner

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Planner to join our dynamic team at Fawkes & Reece (North), a leading regional contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects across various sectors.
About the Role:As an Assistant Planner, you will be responsible for supporting our Senior Planner and Planning Manager in delivering projects from £5m to £15m in value. You will work on high-rise residential, commercial developments, student accommodations, care homes, and retirement living schemes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the planning and coordination of projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project success.
- Contribute to the development of project proposals, business cases, and tender documents.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Planner or similar role in a construction environment.
- Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to think ahead and manage risk.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Competitive salary up to £50,000 DOE.
