IPS Finance is seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for overseeing and executing financial operations and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and timely Purchase Ledger records, including coding invoices and updating the ledger for month-end.
- Carry out monthly supplier statement reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
- Prepare regular Supplier Payment runs in accordance with the company's cash management process, as agreed with the Group Financial Controller.
- Maintain Sales Ledger records, including reconciliation of daily takings and investigation of any discrepancies.
- Develop detailed Costs Analysis on specific cost lines in accordance with agreed cost line ownership.
- Prepare Payroll payments for EU locations.
- Reconcile UK Bank Accounts, analyze store petty cash, and post cash analysis of stock-related invoices.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as specified by the business.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office 365, particularly Advanced Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Sage Line 50 is an advantage.
- Must be a confident communicator.
