Trauma Orthopaedic Ward Nurse

Evelyn is a 33-bedded trauma orthopaedic ward that provides care to a range of patients.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, liaising with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity in care delivery.
- Responsible for the care of patients on the ward, including assessment, development, and implementation of care plans.
- Monitor and participate in research-based nursing care to meet patient needs, and lead a team to achieve best practices.
- Review and work to agreed standards of patient care, monitoring outcomes and ensuring compliance with Trust policies and guidelines.
- Ensure nursing care is provided with consideration for cultural needs and participate in the implementation of relevant nursing research and changes in clinical practice.
- Contribute to clinical governance initiatives and ensure effective participation in benchmarked standards for quality clinical care.
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Teaching Qualification or equivalent experience
- Good clinical skills and a commitment to developing them further
- A willingness to develop teaching skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- The ability to solve problems and use initiative
- Demonstrate commitment to Trust HEART Values - Honesty, Equality, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork
