We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Money Support Advisor to join our Income Recovery Team in Boston. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting our Income Officers in the collection of income by providing a comprehensive support service to customers in the collection of arrears and dealing with customer enquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of cases and support customers in arrears, including maximising household income, resolving benefit problems, reducing debts to LHP, and providing direct money advice and management skills.
- Maintain clear and concise case records and accurate performance and statistical data to inform LHP's core business priorities.
- Ensure legal compliance of all LHP policies and procedures in the income recovery process to maximise income and achieve business plan targets.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers, local courts, and stakeholders to ensure customers can access available services that assist them in managing their homes and contributing to their communities.
- Effective partnership working skills, including relationship building, negotiation, and influencing.
- Desirable: experience working within a housing or public sector environment, knowledge or experience of applying income recovery procedures and the application of legislation through legal enforcement processes.
