Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Support: Provide timely and accurate sales support to our customers, including responding to inquiries, providing product information, and assisting with order status updates.
  • Prospecting and Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including sales enquiries, new product launches, and marketing campaigns.
  • Quote Management: Create, send, and follow up on quotations to close sales and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Bid Management: Prepare and submit bids for tenders on behalf of the organisation.
  • Email Management: Manage and facilitate activity from several shared sales and customer-focused email accounts.
  • Sales Reporting: Generate sales reports, track sales activity, and analyse data to provide insight on sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • CRM Management: Ensure that the CRM software is kept up to date with current product, price, and customer information.
  • Event Support: Support the organisation in organising conferences, sample campaigns, and other company events.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Logistics, to ensure smooth coordination of sales activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Relevant work experience in an internal customer/sales support role.
  • Language Ability: Working knowledge of/fluency in the English language (spoken and written).
  • Mathematical Ability: Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
