Overview of the Role

We invite you to join our vibrant team as a Financial Reporting Specialist at Head Office. This role presents an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our finance department, focusing on monthly financial reporting.

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, your primary responsibility will be to deliver crucial support to the Senior Accounting team, particularly in the preparation of precise and detailed monthly financial statements. We seek a driven and detail-oriented team player with a strong focus on accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the compilation of monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

- Accurately prepare and record journal entries in a timely manner.

- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for your assigned areas of responsibility.

- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Facilitate the audit process by preparing necessary documentation and supporting materials.

- Aid in the preparation of year-end statutory financial statements.

- Maintain and enhance robust processes and controls in accordance with Group standards.

- Ensure thorough documentation of all tasks and activities in line with internal policies.

- Continuously assess and improve financial processes and controls.

- Undertake various ad-hoc projects to support the finance team and strategic initiatives.

Candidate Qualifications:

- Part qualified or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

- BA/BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or a similar capacity.

- Proven experience in preparing monthly financial statements, financial reports, and documentation.

- Familiarity with financial audits and statutory financial statement preparation.

- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and financial modeling.

- Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to manage and interpret financial data accurately.

- Capability to identify issues, propose solutions, and take proactive measures to address them.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
