Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Protection Officer to join our team. Reporting into the Customer Relations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and safeguarding sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of Data Subject Requests, adhering to strict guidelines and procedures.
  • Process subject access requests and other rights requests promptly and accurately, maintaining meticulous records throughout the process.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments to gather information and address requests efficiently.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on data protection activities to management.
  • Stay abreast of evolving data protection laws and regulations, ensuring our practices remain compliant.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance data security and privacy.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with data protection standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on data protection best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a data protection role, ideally within the insurance industry.
