Collection and Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Collection and Delivery Worker. This is an ongoing role of at least 8 weeks, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan Efficient Delivery Routes: Start your day by planning the most efficient delivery route to ensure timely and safe delivery of parcels.
- Conduct Safety Checks: Perform thorough safety checks on the delivery vehicle before starting your route to ensure a safe working environment.
- Deliver and Collect Parcels: Safely and efficiently deliver and collect parcels to and from households and businesses, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and positive customer service during all deliveries and collections, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work on any day between Monday and Saturday, including Saturdays.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
- Driving License: Must hold a valid Category B driving license (ideally clean, with no more than 6 points).
- Friendly and Positive Attitude: Excellent customer service skills and a positive demeanour are essential for success in this role.
- Competitive hourly pay (£14.04 - £16.59 per hour).
- Opportunity for ongoing work beyond the initial 8-week period.
- Gain valuable experience in logistics and customer service.
