Recycling Site Operations Manager

Site Supervisor Role
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Newbery Recycling Limited. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our recycling site, overseeing the weighbridge operations, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with weighbridge operations and provide excellent customer service.
- Coordinate the daily activities of the site, ensuring all staff job roles are completed efficiently.
- Monitor and enforce the company's health and safety policy on site.
- Weigh and pay customers through our IT systems.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Cover office duties when required, providing administrative support to the team.
- Promote all services offered by Newbery Recycling Limited, including quality materials for sale.
- Implement an effective traffic management plan for the site, ensuring smooth operations.
- Monitor daily production of materials for sale, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Quality control all materials ready for sale, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Periodically review and update safe working procedures and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Ensure the site is compliant with EA Permit and FPP requirements.
- Supervise the team, providing guidance and support to ensure staff have the motivation and training to deliver high levels of performance.
- Complete EA Technical Competence for site operations, maintaining industry standards.
Working Hours: 7am - 6pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £35,000 per annum
