Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team at Newbery Recycling Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our recycling site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers and complete weighbridge operations
  • Coordinate the efficient operation of the site
  • Ensure all staff job roles are completed each day
  • Weigh and pay customers through our IT systems
  • Load and unload vehicles
  • Cover office duties when required
  • Monitor and enforce the company's health and safety policy on site
  • Promote all services offered by Newbery Recycling Limited
  • Implement an effective traffic management plan for the site
  • Monitor daily production of materials for sale
  • Quality control all materials ready for sale
  • Periodically review and update safe working procedures
  • Ensure site compliance with environmental agency permits and policies
  • Supervise the team to motivate and train staff to deliver required performance levels
  • Complete environmental agency technical competence for site operations

Working Hours: 7am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £35,000 per annum
