Job Opportunity: Construction Delivery Manager

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Delivery Manager to join their team. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing tier 1 contractors, ensuring day-to-day site supervision, and coordinating logistics, planning, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support contract partners in delivering works packages to enable efficient delivery of their sections of works.
  2. Recommend temporary measures to mitigate against safety and/or quality concerns and take appropriate action to avoid cessation of works.
  3. Monitor works on site, record findings in a construction daily site log, and ensure information is reported to the Senior Construction Delivery Manager.
  4. Proactively communicate and coordinate with site functions (H&S, quality, surveillance, commercial, project controls, logistics) and other Construction Delivery Managers.
  5. Organise and conduct PLOD/PLOW meetings with the contractor, ensuring outputs are recorded and issued to the Senior Construction Delivery Manager.
  6. Undertake and record safety and/or assurance inspections that support the project HSPI's.
  7. Ensure clear, two-way communication with the Senior Construction Delivery Manager to direct all activities and issues appropriately.
Requirements:
  1. Experience and knowledge in delivering projects, including construction sequencing, recovery plans, and resource allocation.
  2. Ability to motivate and energise contract partners by building a climate of trust and understanding.
  3. Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction management, or equivalent vocational training and experience.
  4. SMSTS or IOSH qualification holder.
  5. Adopt a results-focused mindset, using initiative and taking personal responsibility to ensure necessary action is taken to deliver excellence, value, and quality.
