Nuclear Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Project Coordinator to join our team at NRL Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the Programme Manager in the implementation and maintenance of Integrated Project Controls processes for Planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Programme Manager in the implementation and maintenance of Integrated Project Controls processes for Planning, including the production of monthly reports.
  2. Collaborate with others to help deliver Project goals in keeping with project principles of Trust, Transparency, and Teamwork.
  3. Produce and maintain the schedule baseline IWS in Primavera 6 (P6), with fully logic-linked work plans aligned to the Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and utilising approved construction techniques.
  4. Ensure the Level 2 IWS is updated to an agreed timeframe for monthly reporting.
  5. Ensure the Level 3 schedules are updated when required to reflect work progress and performance, to an agreed timeframe defined by the Central Controls Team.
  6. Ensure that contractor schedules are produced in accordance with project processes and ensure that they align to the IWS forecast position.
  7. Maintain daily and weekly work planning in 4D model.
  8. Provide quality checks on the Scheduling data.
  9. Assist in the Trend & Change process, including analysis of schedule impact, generating performance indicators and providing feedback on areas of risk and opportunities.
  10. Adhere to Project governance and Scheduling standards and procedures.
  11. Ensure all Project documents, in particular Sensitive Nuclear Information, are correctly protectively marked and protected in accordance with client policies and procedures.
  12. Technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement and construction methods and techniques in a UK context.
  13. Ability to produce accurate, complete and fully logic-linked construction plans.
