Job Title: Principal Accounting Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Accounting Technician to join our team at Highland Council. The successful candidate will provide accounting support to Services and Clusters within the Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accounting support to Services and Clusters within the Council.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.

Requirements:

  • HND in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience in accounting and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
