The ideal candidate will have great written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail. They will oversee a portfolio of clients, lead client HMRC reporting, and drive projects to enhance bookkeeping and financial reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating in a client-facing role and overseeing a portfolio of clients, assisting with month-end preparation, agile FC / FD services, and tax compliance.
  • Overseeing client HMRC reporting, including VAT, Payroll, and Corporation Tax.
  • Spearheading projects that improve the efficiency of our bookkeeping and financial reporting tasks firm-wide.
  • Supporting bookkeeping needs to the team during peak periods.
  • Assisting with new client onboarding.
  • Managing statutory year-end submissions.
  • Introducing technology solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven 2+ years' experience post qualification or Qualified by Experience Accountant.
  • Experience working in an accounting function in industry and overseeing the full cycle.
  • Comfortable with software such as Xero, Dext, and Syft.
  • Delivering awesome customer service and experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Fluent in English.
