Production Operative Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team at Inspired Pet Nutrition's Kinmel Bay site in North Wales. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the production of high-quality pet food products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow production directions and ensure products are packed correctly.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality throughout the production process, adhering to food safety legislation and standards.
  • Adhere to the 'Clean As You Go' policy to maintain a clean and hygienic working environment.
  • Conduct hourly production checks and report any issues to the Area Shift Leader or Area Manager.
  • Monitor equipment effectiveness and report any issues to the Engineering department.
  • Promote a safe working culture and report any safety concerns or plant damage.
  • Minimize waste of raw materials, products, packaging, chemicals, and water.
  • Participate in training and assist with the training of new colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
  • Good standard of education and strong literacy and numerical skills.
  • Food Hygiene Accreditation is desirable.
