About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator to join our team at Eames Consulting. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing support to other IT staff, project support to the IT Architecture teams, and administration of the IT Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain entire MS-SQL server infrastructure across all environments: production, UAT, and development
  • Database backup and recovery with use of native backup and Ola Hallengren maintenance solution
  • Manage and audit database security
  • Management of disaster recovery solutions (Microsoft Clustering, Availability Groups - including multi subnet configuration)
  • Performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning with use of native or third-party tools (preferably RedGate SQL Monitor)
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of PowerShell, SSIS, and T-SQL
  • Administration of Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), and Analytical Services (SSAS)
