About the Role

The Asset Management Specialist will manage all client's assets for all Swindon Projects through the clients Joint Asset Management and Engineering System (JAMES) IT system and accurate record keeping of KBR electronic records.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately record the transfer of client assets on issue from the Swindon equipment support facility.
  • Accurately record receipts of client assets on first receipt or return to the Swindon equipment support facility.
  • Accurately record all maintenance activities undertaken on client assets on return from maintenance team within the Swindon equipment support facility.
  • Provide accurate data to the Project Management Teams for client reporting purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Works Act.
  • Ensure document control accountability for all KBR and equipment record books or forms.


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Trained and experienced with the clients JAMES IT system.
  • Supervisory experience and good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of military equipment with an engineering background
  • Good understanding of MoD systems and processes
  • JAMES qualified in all modules up to and including Senior Equipment Manager and Repair Manager.
  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background with an understanding of military equipment.
