Brief Description

As a professional engineer, you'll provide leadership and expertise in the management of Control, Command & Signalling (CCS) assets. This will involve ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our signalling systems, as well as developing and implementing strategies to improve asset performance and integrity.

About the role

You'll be responsible for leading and developing the capability of engineers and other stakeholders involved in CCS asset management. This will include providing guidance and advice on policy, standards, and specifications, as well as ensuring the delivery of technical briefings and assurance of asset safety and integrity.

Key responsibilities

Provide professional engineering leadership for CCS asset management
Develop and implement strategies to improve asset performance and integrity
Lead and develop the capability of engineers and other stakeholders
Provide guidance and advice on policy, standards, and specifications
Ensure the delivery of technical briefings and assurance of asset safety and integrity

Requirements

Registered Engineer at CEng level with the Engineering Council
Proven experience of successfully managing a large complex and diverse asset base
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant asset systems, engineering standards, and process integrity
Strong customer focus in a multi-disciplinary team
Proven experience of leading successful negotiations at a senior level and balancing the views of a range of stakeholders
