About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our client's team in Hereford. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the facilities team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers
  • Plan and manage maintenance work, including obtaining quotations and controlling operational costs
  • Record and maintain project planning details
  • Induct and establish effective working relationships with contractors
  • Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and monitoring of maintenance records
  • Maintain Permit to Work log for contractors and maintenance operations
  • Respond to emergency situations and host contractors
  • Ensure sites are prepared for adverse weather conditions
  • Manage the cleaning, facilities, and maintenance teams
  • Ensure all teams and contractors adhere to health and safety and COSHH regulations
  • Support the management of the canteen, staff policies, and processes, as well as 3rd-party security companies
