Electrical Technician

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in the Nottingham region. This role is a long-term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical assessments of control systems, both electrical and mechanical.
- Safely isolate, disassemble, and evaluate pumping machinery, including moving components and lubricants.
- Inspect and document any issues related to valves and piping systems.
- Provide detailed specifications, measurements, and comprehensive descriptions of components needing replacement.
- Install and commission provided equipment along with all related apparatus.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Execute both scheduled and emergency service visits promptly.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift access covers, pumping machinery, and associated components from ground level to depths of approximately 10 meters using the appropriate tools supplied by the employer.
Work Environment:
- Engage with a diverse range of clients, from residential customers to large-scale contractors and municipal service providers.
Qualifications:
- 18th Edition certification.
- Water hygiene certification.
- JIB card.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
This role offers a competitive hourly wage, overtime rates, and door-to-door payments. Participation in an on-call rota is required. A company vehicle may be provided after a minimum tenure with the organization.
