Job Summary: We are seeking highly motivated and caring PSWs to provide assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming to our clients. As a PSW with CareKW, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the care team
Requirements:
- Personal Support Worker Certificate (Required)
- Valid work/study permit (if applicable)
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Up-to-date Immunization Records (MMR, TDAP, Varicella, Hep B)
- Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) considered an asset
- Non-Violence Crisis Intervention (NVCI) considered an asset
