At BurnsSheehan, we are collaborating with a prominent leader in the Environmental Sustainability sector as they seek a DevOps Specialist for Azure to contribute to their ongoing Digital Transformation journey.
In the role of DevOps Specialist for Azure, you will work under the guidance of the Technical Delivery Team Lead, receiving technical direction from the Principal Technical Lead. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering Azure services, upholding the Cloud Appropriate Strategy, supporting project implementations, and offering escalation support and training to fellow Technical Services team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Azure Service Infrastructure, enhancing and optimizing critical functional areas.
- Design and maintain scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions utilizing Azure, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), Bicep, and Azure DevOps.
- Ensure security measures for infrastructure while proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities.
- Provide daily consultation, training, troubleshooting, and problem-solving support to the IT Department for various projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the technical integration of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring adherence to Best Practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- Relevant Microsoft, Azure, and cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Ability to propose suitable IT solutions in response to evolving business and project risks.
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure design and support.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and associated tools.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
