Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled CloudOps Engineer to join our Technology team based in Loudwater, Buckinghamshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure, including IaaS and PaaS services.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud resources.
- Implement IaaS to PaaS and SaaS migrations.
- Manage existing infrastructure hardware, including physical network equipment and servers.
- Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline provisioning, configuration, and elasticity of infrastructure components.
- Set up and monitor alerting systems for infrastructure and applications.
- Continuously analyse and optimize resource usage for cost efficiency and performance improvement.
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support during office hours and occasionally weekends and bank holidays.
- Maintain the security of the Dreams systems and networks within company guidelines and any legal requirements.
- Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Work closely with software development teams to integrate infrastructure requirements into the development process.
- Collaborate with IT operations and support teams to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.
- Involve in building and maintaining relationships between Dreams and its 3rd party suppliers.
- Working as a part of the internal and external project teams to deliver Dreams initiatives, with involvement in managing projects, providing project plans, technical input/solutions and producing regular updates.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
