About the Educational Institution:
  • Age Range: Serves students aged 4-16 years old
  • Special Needs Focus: Supports learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Student Engagement: Support students across various areas of the institution, showcasing a positive and aspirational attitude towards their growth.

Selection Criteria:
  • Experience: Background or interest in working with children with learning difficulties in educational or related sectors.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or above, CACHE Level 2 or above (desirable).
  • Training Willingness: Open to undertaking relevant online professional development courses prior to commencing the role.
  • Pupil-Centric Approach: Prioritize the needs of students and demonstrate a readiness to learn new responsibilities.
  • Teamwork Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
  • Adaptability: Flexible approach to working with students, addressing their diverse needs.
