About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our team as a Bank Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, managing patients with highly specialized complex needs in various care settings.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including GPs, consultants, nurses, and other Allied Health Professionals, to provide expert patient-centered care.
  • Provide training, education, and supervision to staff, contributing to the development of professional practice and the transformation and evaluation of service delivery.
  • Support aspects of service evaluation, with a focus on value-based care and complex audit within the area.

Requirements
  • Essential qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy, HCPC Registration, MSc or equivalent level of specialist knowledge and experience, and evidence of relevant postgraduate courses/CPD.
  • Desirable qualifications: Teaching qualification, Independent prescribing.
  • Essential experience: Extensive experience working in acute paediatric physiotherapy, audit/research, formal and informal teaching, and working within healthcare systems.
  • Desirable experience: Working alongside Paediatric Consultants or similar, teaching at postgraduate level.
  • Aptitude and Abilities: Excellent communication skills, highly specialized clinical reasoning skills, advanced assessment skills, physical ability to perform manual handling and equipment techniques, and ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, able to set priorities and deliver against targets, and ability to work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Circumstances: Ability to carry out full range of duties, including travel between hospital and community sites, in a timely manner, and ability to work flexibly.
