Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Duty Manager to join our team at Park Grand Hotels. As a Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk and reception area, ensuring a high level of customer service and a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the hotel staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
- Monitor and control hotel expenses, ensuring that they are within budget and that the hotel is operating efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue growth, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote the hotel and attract new customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a hotel management or supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
