Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

Location: The Hillings

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 36 hours per week, including every other weekend

Salary: £12.90 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at The Hillings in St Neots. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, working closely with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor Care Assistants to ensure they deliver the highest standard of care to our residents.
  • Take an active role in promoting the services we provide and administering medication as required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with the care team and residents.
  • Provide support and guidance to Care Assistants, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent care.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our care services.

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience within a care home or care environment.
  • Experience in writing and updating care plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
