Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager - Commercial Heat Pumps to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating specification and sales within the commercial heat pumps sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Sales: Selling a high-quality manufactured range of heat pumps, boilers, and water heaters to M&E contractors, specialist sub-contractors, and main contractors.
  • Specification Sales: Generating specification via M&E consultants, mechanical consultants, and local authorities.
  • Sales Management: Managing sales through plumber merchants, builder merchants, and specialist distributors.
  • Order Management: Dealing with typical order values of around £10k-£150k+ depending on project size.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Must have field sales experience selling commercial heat pumps/pumps and specification sales via M&E consultants, M&E consultants, and local authorities.
  • Industry Contacts: Must have contacts in the industry.
  • Commercial Acumen: Must be commercially astute.
  • Dynamic Work Ethic: Must be dynamic with a strong work ethic.
  • Results-Oriented: Must be likeable, tenacious, and results-oriented.
