Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Heat Pumps Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating specification and sales of high-quality manufactured heat pumps, boilers, and water heaters to M&E contractors, specialist sub-contractors, and main contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Sales: Spend 50% of your time generating specification via M&E consultants, mechanical consultants, and local authorities.
- Sales to Contractors: Spend 40% of your time selling into M&E contractors, specialist sub-contractors, and main contractors.
- Sales to Distributors: Spend 10% of your time selling and managing sales through plumber merchants, builder merchants, and specialist distributors.
- Dealing with Orders: Handle typical order values of around £10k-£150k+ depending on project size.
- Area Management: Inherit a well-established area turning over circa £2.4m.
Requirements:
- Field Sales Experience: Must have experience selling commercial heat pumps/pumps.
- Specification Sales: Must have experience of specification sales via M&E consultants, M&E consultants, and local authorities.
- Industry Contacts: Must have contacts in the industry.
- Commercial Acumen: Must be commercially astute.
- Dynamic Work Ethic: Must be dynamic with a strong work ethic.
- Results-Oriented: Must be likeable, tenacious, and results-oriented.
