We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Oncologist to join our team at Northampton General Hospital. As a Consultant in Medical Oncology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our oncology services.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake clinical and managerial responsibility for the agreed oncology specialties and patients, including liaison with consultant colleagues and other hospital staff.
- Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in your charge, maintaining national standards and participating in Peer Review.
- Contribute to the development of our oncology services, including research and clinical trials.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in teaching and training programs for medical staff, medical students, and other hospital employees.
We are looking for a Consultant with:
- Years of experience as a Consultant in Medical Oncology.
- GMC registration.
- NHS experience.
