The Area Sales Manager - Lighting role at BMS Performance presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join our team and drive business growth in the lighting sector. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with electrical wholesale customers, contractors, and installers to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
- Utilize in-depth product knowledge to provide expert advice and solutions to customers, ensuring their lighting needs are met.
- Work closely with our design and engineering teams to develop and implement sales strategies that meet customer needs and drive business results.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales and revenue.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the organization.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in B2B field sales, with a strong understanding of the electrical wholesale market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong product knowledge and ability to provide expert advice and solutions to customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Driving license and ability to travel frequently.
What We Offer:
- A competitive base salary of £45,000 - £55,000, plus uncapped commission.
- A wide choice of company car.
- 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.

Edinburgh, Perth, Kirkaldy, Falkirk, Motherwell, Glasgow, Paisley.
