Service Engineer

Our client, a leading player in the safety solutions industry, is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the Workshop and Service department, you will play a crucial role in delivering a first-class service to customers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections, service, repairs, and testing of safety equipment in accordance with current legislation and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, providing technical support and advice as needed.
  • Input and update hire and service information onto the Syrinx database system.
  • Provide technical support to end users via phone or onsite.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop and ensure a safe working environment.
About You:
  • Previous experience in a workshop environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Current and valid driving license (category B as a minimum).
  • Good MS Office suite and database skills.
  • Training will be provided where required on systems.
  • Manufacturer training will be given after completion of a probationary period.

The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach to working hours, as travel to customer sites will be required.
