Technical Project Manager - Inside IR35

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our client in Filton, Gloucestershire on an initial 6-month deal with likely extensions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Define and design solutions for R&T projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.
  2. Provide documentation and implementation support for ATI/DDMS funded R&T projects, such as COSINC.
  3. Collect and assess digital needs of research partners within the project.
  4. Disseminate best practices from previous R&T projects in the field of 'digital factory'.
Accountabilities:
  1. Act as a visionary to assist in defining future IT applications and services, validating product designs.
  2. Collaborate with System or Solution Architects, and research partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
  3. Align architecture strategies with IM long-term strategic planning and the organisation's business objectives.
  4. Define standards and guidelines for the selection, implementation, and use of Information Technology within the organisation.
  5. Clarify and support the business for future needs in the frame of Export Control, application convergence, and innovative approaches like data analytics or Machine Learning.
Requirements:
  • Manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Shop floor execution skills.
  • Industrial Modelling and Simulation knowledge.
  • Configuration Management expertise.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Configured Digital Mock-Up (DMU) skills.
  • Product Lifecycle Management expertise.
  • Engineering IS Architecture knowledge.
Ability to drive improvement and innovation.Customer and stakeholder management skills.Advanced level of English language skills.Project management skills, able to manage a project from beginning to end.IT Tools customising and architecture knowledge.IT & Business Strategy Alignment.IT Product Design & Product Development.IT/Business Change Management.Stakeholders Management.Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
