Job Summary

Henson Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Junior Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Category team, you will be responsible for leading category-based stories and delivering compelling brand stories to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead category-based stories and deliver compelling brand stories to customers
  • Work with market data to present a compelling brand story to the customer and the wider internal team
  • Identify gaps in category and use insights to develop strong recommendations
  • Work with category data platforms such as IRI, Kantar or Nielsen
  • Present to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Category Management or Market Research experience working for/with FMCG brands
  • Ability to identify gaps in category and use insights to develop strong recommendations
  • Working knowledge of category data platforms such as IRI, Kantar or Nielsen
  • Excellent presentation skills and an accurate eye for detail
  • Solid commercial acumen with the ability to influence through using category data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
